Does gross profit already include refill profit?
Yes. Refill profit is already inside gross profit, so don't add it again. The Refills report shows it separately only as a breakdown.

What Lio helps with

- Today's sales, last month's profit, a branch's expenses, best sellers and what you owe suppliers, answered from your records.

Careful with your figures
Lio is built for real shop data, so it follows the same rules as the rest of Vaplio.
- Read-only: Lio explains and opens pages, but never makes sales, refunds, stock, price or money changes.
- Only what that person may see: if managers can't see cost and profit, Lio won't show them either. Cashiers can't use Lio.
- Every figure is checked against your records before it's shown. If Lio can't check a figure, it says so instead of guessing.
- Each branch stays separate: a manager only gets answers for the branches they work in.
- Lio sticks to your shop and Vaplio.
Lio works alongside everything else in Vaplio: the till, refills by the ml, stock and suppliers and reports per branch.
About Lio
- Who can use Lio?
- Owners and managers of every business on Vaplio. Cashiers can't use it. Each person sees only what their role and branches allow.
- Is Lio available for my shop?
- Yes. Lio is in early access and included in every plan: owners and managers find Ask Lio at the top of the screen.
- How long are Lio chats kept?
- Seven days after a chat's last message, the whole chat is deleted. Vaplio keeps only a usage record for each question (who asked, when, and the cost, with no question or answer) to count messages against your plan; those are deleted after 13 months. Deleted chats can stay in our encrypted backups for up to 35 days.
- Can Lio change my records?
- No. Lio only reads. Sales, refunds, stock, prices and settings are changed in the app by the people allowed to.
- How many questions can we ask?
- Each plan includes Lio messages for the whole business every month of your subscription, and higher plans include more. Each person also has a daily limit, so one busy day doesn't use them all up. The exact numbers are in the plan comparison on the pricing page.
